Success is subjective and can be measured differently depending on your perspective. This conference will explore success in the provision of service to our community.

The 2015 Illawarra Forum conference builds on the last two conferences; 2013 – “3rd Sector – 1st Choice”  and 2014 “Stand Up – Stand Out”  In these we explored the status of our Industry, and addressed the challenge of establishing ourselves as an equal partner in the economic and social future of the region

Now it’s time to take a look at Success and what it means to you.

The proposed workshop streams are:

Strategising for Success– strategic information for Boards & CEOs with topics such as

  • Successful partnerships
  • Evaluating impact – measuring success
  • Working on your business to drive success
  • Business tools for success
  • Successful Marketing strategies

Success in Practice – for frontline staff

Breakout sessions to inspire you to refresh practice, refocus or refine approaches to meet the changing needs of service delivery

  • Successful Communities of Practice
  • Enabling individuals; Successful person centred practice
  • Successful Innovative or best practice showcase

This conference provides an opportunity to explore the actions from The Roadmap for the Future of Community Services in the Illawarra (http://illawarraforum.org.au/resources/publications/).

This event will be a must for leaders from the community, government, and business sectors. As well as managers, board members, staff from non-government organisations, and students hoping to join the industry.
